Results of the Broadband Fund: Projects selected for funding
The CRTC launched the Broadband Fund in 2019 to improve Internet and cellphone services in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities across Canada.
To date, the Fund has supported projects that will connect homes, improve cellphone service along major roads, and build fibre to communities. The Fund has also improved high-speed Internet and cellphone services in rural and remote communities, connecting essential institutions such as schools, health care facilities, and community centres.
